Session Times (approximate)

All-day Visits: 10am – 3pm These times are negotiable.

Ratios

We can cater for a maximum of 2 class groups at any one time, however  visits of one class group per day are even more successful.

We recommend a party ratio of at least 1 adult to every  6-10 pupils to make supervision easier.

The exact adult:pupil ratios will depend on the class teachers own risk assessment.

Special school ratios by arrangement. The Gardens and Study Centre are fully accessible by wheelchair.

Lunch

Inside: In the event of bad weather a classroom is usually available.

Outside: If weather permits, The extensive grounds are ideal for picnics.

Other Facilities

There is a small playground , which schools can use if closely supervised..

This must be risk assessed by the visiting school.

There are public toilets in the Study Centre, and in the Gardens. Disabled access toilets are also available. A café / restaurant. is located in the Gardens.
