What happens?
Four stunning Glasshouses situated within Birmingham Botanical Gardens, which has collections of plants from around the world.
There’s a qualified and experienced OLS teacher based at The Botanical Gardens who provides teaching sessions for Birmingham City Council schools.
Teaching sessions are based both in the Glasshouses and in the outdoors all have an environmental focus.

Please note that former Birmingham Local Authority Schools, that have become, or are about to become Academies should still book visits through the Outdoor Learning Service.
Schools can apply for a bursary to visit Birmingham Botanical Gardens through Hugh Kenrick Days, administered through the National Association for Environmental Education (www.naee.org.uk).
